David Kissin

My name is David Kissin and I am a 17 year old guitarist out of LI NY. As a young child I was exposed to a lot of classical music by my grandmother. I began playing the piano and violin and gained performance experience at a very young age because of it. 8/9 years ago my I received my first guitar, and was introduced to the blues. I discovered Slash from Guns and Roses which influenced my guitar playing immensely. I played a few shows with School of Rock until I formed a band with a few classmates. I have expanded my interest in the genres I play, as I believe there is something to learn and take away from each. My passion for music grows exponentially as it provides an escape from stress and never fails to put a smile on my face.
