My name is Simone Magioncalda. I was born on 2006 in Genoa, northern Italy. I’ve become interested in music when my dad made me listen to Blow Up Your Video by AC/DC. From that moment on I started playing the old electric guitar that we had at home; the first riff I’ve learnt – one week later – has been the introducNon of Highway To Hell. A deep descent into metal soon aRer was not a surprise, then. Zakk Wylde, Tony Iommi, Dimebag Darrel. And again Yngwie, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman. And Deep Purple. And the great jazz fusion guitar players: Mike Stern, Allan Holdsworth, ScoZ Henderson. The rock icon and guitar God: Geoffrey Arnold “Jeff” Beck. EVERYTHING is on my current radar and my teacher Andrea Cocciardo helps me expand my vocabulary and push me to the unknown. I’ve many singles (own music and covers) on digital plaborms and a youtube channel, and a deep passion for every music genre and every instrument and every rock, metal, jazz musician.
